Dan Suh and Korea Foods agree to sponsor and support FC Griffin Park!
22 August 2020
Within days of putting out the call out for players to found FC Griffin Park, Dan Suh, Managing Director of Korea Foods, lifelong Brentford FC fan and supporter of grassroots football has stepped forward to offer his sponsorship and support off the pitch to our club in its inaugural season.
Thanks to Dan's support, the club has been able to purchase a brand new home kit, including 17 shirts embroidered with our new badge and 20 pairs of shorts and socks.
As well as agreeing to sponsor the team, Dan has also offered to share his knowledge and experience from decades of running Sunday league football with the new FC Griffin Park club. Despite juggling a young family, running a business and spending half his time in Korea, Dan has agreed to join the 'Backroom staff' to provide me and the club with the help, support, assistance and the occasional kick up the ass as required.
Speaking about his new role and sponsorship of FC Griffin Park, Dan said;
"Its a great pleasure to be back involved with Brentford Supporters Sunday football again, after I founded Beesotted back in 2001.
Through Korea Foods and FC Griffin Park, supporting grassroots football is important to me, providing small opportunities for footballers to enjoy the beautiful game.
After almost 20 years of running successful clubs in Brentford and Sheffield, I hope to be able to support Rhys Williams and the club in whatever way I can.
FC Griffin Park epitomises what I believe in amateur football and I look forward to the season ahead and beyond. "
On behalf of the whole club, I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Dan for the ongoing support he has given the club at this very early stage. I look forward to taking the club forward with Dan's support in the season(s) ahead.
